BE INVOLVED

Nothing that happens in ELI is by chance. Because of your prayers and support, there has been a blossoming of literacy, education, economic opportunity, and the gospel throughout Susu. Projects that may seem small, such as reader glasses, local language books, the purchase of a pair of goats, really do make a difference! Whether small or big, each project impacts lives. To get involved and be involved, please see a listing of other pending projects below.

A New Home for the Kids

The newest twin baby goats, Priscilla and Aquila have joined the Susu Village herd and several more kids are scheduled to arrive soon! This is exciting news as more specialized milking goats are needed, but the increasing number of babies is causing the existing goat barn to be bursting at the seams. A better location for the kids has been found, but a new barn with strong fencing is needed. The cost for this important project, (which will benefit so many children) is $2,750. Will you please help us build A New Home for the Kids?

Drive Sweet Susu Produce

Agricultural projects have been successful! ELI recently purchased a four-ton truck that was needed to haul produce to market. The truck is expected to arrive in November 2021. A shed is needed to protect the truck and keep it in good running

order. $2500 is needed for fuel, maintenance and the shed.

Facebook Birthday Fundraisers

Several ELI supporters used their birthdays as an opportunity to meet a specific need. Click here to read more about their great ideas.

Lana celebrated a milestone birthday two years ago, by asking friends and family to purchase a goat or two for Susu Village, Zambia. A goat barn was built and eighteen adorable kids started the new herd. The project surpassed expectations as those kids are having kids and producing nutritious milk for the village children.
